Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
PanelPilot is a browser extension for reading manga and image-heavy pages in a focused fullscreen reader. This policy explains what data the extension uses and how it is handled.
Data PanelPilot Stores
PanelPilot stores reader settings locally in your browser, including:
- reader preferences such as autoplay, zoom step, images per view, control placement, and hotkeys;
- website-specific reader settings, such as the selected reader mode for a site;
- optional trained page profiles, including page origins, page paths, and CSS selectors for the main image and navigation buttons.
Data PanelPilot Does Not Collect
PanelPilot does not create accounts, collect analytics, sell data, track you across websites, or send your reading history to a server operated by the extension.
Website Access
The extension needs access to pages you use it on so it can find readable images, open the fullscreen reader, respond to reader controls, and save site-specific settings. Image URLs from the current page may be read in the browser to display them in the reader.
Where Data Is Kept
Stored settings and trained profiles are kept in browser extension storage on your device. Temporary reader session state may be kept in the current tab session so the reader can resume after page navigation.
Data Sharing
PanelPilot does not share stored settings, trained profiles, or reader session data with third parties. Pages you visit may still make their own network requests according to those websites' policies.
Your Choices
You can delete saved site profiles and settings from the extension settings page. You can also remove all extension data by uninstalling PanelPilot from your browser.
Changes
This policy may be updated when PanelPilot changes how it handles data. The effective date above will be updated when that happens.
